Malaysian Mid-Week Quickie! ;)

Hey everyone!

Taking a break from studying for a biology exam tomorrow and decided to share with you some cute gifts that my aunt brought back for me from her latest business trip to Malaysia! She's constantly out of the country and I'm entirely too spoiled by her shopping habits. (But I will never complain) haha
So anyways, she got me a gorgeous pink and orange batik scarf and the most adorable little tree that I have ever seen! It is in a blue pot and the trunk and branches are all made of coiled copper wire. My favorite part though, is that the leaves are all made up of gemstones! How adorable is that? I can't wait to find a good use for my scarf and my little tree is already in my bookshelf with my other souvenirs.

Alright, this has been fun, but back to the books. >__<  I, for one, can't wait until the weekend! OH, I have recently received a surge of new readers, so welcome and I am currently only 20 subscribers from my first giveaway! I have slowly been compiling it and I know, I know. Counting my chickens before they hatch, but I am optimistic! Ok? lol

See you soon!

  1. Aw what a sweet gift! I lived in malaysia for 5 years, seeing batik and those little gem trees (thay have a chinese name for it which I can't pronounce and depending on the gems, they believe it brings luck, wealth or happinnes or some other good things.. I think!) brings back such nice memories. Thanks for sharing :)
