Hey everyone!
So I start class a little later on Mondays which gives me more time to get ready and put some effort into my makeup. I decided to use all the makeup products that I just got in my T.J. Maxx Haul (and if you haven't seen that one it's right here and it will give you an idea of what the colors look like in the containers). There was a little step by step guide on the back of the box for how and where to use each product. I more or less followed that since it was just basic techniques, but the colors were so much prettier on and with a primer under them. Just perfect colors for me since my go-to look is a brown smokey eye.
So it's a simple application for all the products. I applied some of my Urban Decay Primer Potion and then the Shameless Shana on my lid. I then blended the Caught in the Act Courtney into my crease and used a little of it to line my top lid and under my lower lash line. Since the No Money, No Honey mineral shadow is to be used over the regular shadows, I applied it in the middle of my lids and a bit as a brow highlight. I then curled my lashes and applied the Cheater! mascara, which, by the way, is fantastic! It reminds me a lot of the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes formula and the wand is HUGE! If this stuff were a little cheaper, I might make the switch, but my L'Oréal Voluminous will do for now. And that was all for the eyes. I applied the Hot Mama! blush (my new holy grail blush!) on my cheeks and the Balm Shelter gloss on my lips. That's it! Super easy!
Overall, I am BEYOND impressed with the quality of these products! I am loving this brand so much and want to buy all of their products. I hope you guys liked this look as simple as it was and have a good rest of the week! I'll be extra busy with school and exams. :/
Until next time,
-Rianne
Love the look!! I really like the eyeshadow. I used HotMama for the first time today, is it just me or is the blush SUPER soft in the pan? Maybe I'm just not used to that. Although I LOVE the color, I felt like everytime I touched my face my fingers would get all shimmery from the blush haha. Doesn't seem like it sticks too well!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! The blush is pretty soft in the pan, but I'm used to blushes that take ten tons of pressure to stick to my brush. haha I didn't notice the shimmer rubbing off too much, but I really wasn't looking for it. I'll check it the next time I wear it for sure now!
DeleteAll of it looks great on you! I have been wanting to try theBalm for a while now, and this just makes me want to try it even more! :) Love the shadows and blush both.
ReplyDeleteThose are my favorites as well! You should check out your T.J. Maxx and see if they have any kits on sale! haha I feel like a broken record when I say that, but it's so true. :) Oh and thank you! Glad you liked it!
